I guess it’s to be able to machine at that speed without coolant, otherwise the video would only show coolant moving.

Neat idea, how many long tools can the machine hold at the same time?
@EurotechElite6 ай бұрын
That’s the next step. As of right now, 1 long tool can be stored. The next step is 16 tools, drills, boring bars and turning tools.

When you make one that can actually cut steel, please give us a call. Thanks for stopping by.

Good evening Tom! Brass is only used in these demonstrations so that coolant isn't needed (which makes filming much harder). Introduction of different materials does not have an effect on cycle time or performance! (it just makes for a much less eye-pleasing video.. 🙂)
@rdsii649 ай бұрын
What would cause you to believe this machine can't cut steel. Its right in the video at 0:37 that the machine cut 9310 but they were using brass just for demo purposes.

Hello David, Thank you for asking. In both the Ihmi and classic screens of the Manual Guide-i you have the ability to go into a tab when in edit and insert the correct function as needed to use both the Servo, and Hydraulic Tailstock functions.

very very inserting, however i was imagining that diameters what has to do with concave/convex surfaces not the ratio I need an explanation from you, how the ratio can give that effect? based on what? the number of cutters can be compensated by rpm, so how that change the surface flatness?, also how can i get that formula to calculate flatness of the surface, can you share an email or link plz? thanks in advance

If I complete Polygon turning at one Spindle Speed..after that change RPM without removing workpiece .. Is it work on same path of Hexagon or Not ..?? Actually facing issue at one place...
@EurotechElite2 жыл бұрын
@dhavalgandhi We apologize for not replying to you sooner! The problem with increasing the speed of the cutter during polygonal turning is that both spindles will sync to the same ratio. Even with an RPM change, the start of the cutter cannot be guaranteed to be the same as the previous RPM. There should not be an increase in the speed of the cutter or the part spindle during the Polygonal Turning. The primary issue with changing RPM is that you would need to run first with your rpm making your flats or planes, stop and restart with a new rpm, and then attempt to sync up at the same ratio (1-2) using the same Z start. To find the same plane, you could use an R for shifting until you find the same phasing.

My other brand sales rep told me today, this machine is BS. On real steel, the time is a lot longer than they say, he mentioned. Is there anyone using this for sometime and making real bolts ? What is the time per piece?

We have many customers making carriers. This is a production process shown. In fact, we have sped the process up since this video.
