i assumed these guitars were the same as the rg140 but heavy,fat neck ,no contours ...its a completely different guitar - shootout video next!

I still have a lot to learn about these very well made Japanese instruments. Did not know there was a RG 135. A Tele like Roadster? Sounds very interesting, plus if I remember right it was a very nice blue. By the way you are quite the Balider 🎸😉

My 86 RG 140 is probably my favorite guitar to play also. My 80 Westbury and 86 Guild is a very close second but thats just because of the pups. The neck on the RG is just a pleasure to play. Some reason i thought you had a blue 140.

Series, parallel.. who cares. It rawks Seriously, pull up, and the pickups are in series, putting them into a humbucking type mode. If my calculations are correct.

humbuckers are wired backwards compared to single coils. always the same sticking a bucker in a strat, you need to either swap the wires on the 2 singles or on the bucker so theyre in phase.prob easier on the bridge pup coz it has a seperate earth wire? just swap the start and finish wires over

I got my 1994(not '93) MIM Fender Strat for $300. Brand New. Sorry, NOT the First year of Production(as mistakenly stated previously).That was 1991.The Big difference, I noticed at the time, from my 1972 American Made was the Inferior Maple used in the Neck. Defo wasn't Canadian Hard Maple. Satin finished as well. Love Freddy Fender.

I had a '93 Fender MIM Strat. First year I think.$300 bucks. It was worth that but I've seen folks selling them for Well Over Twice that now. Yea it's 30ish years old now But.... well.... Never mind actually.
