The way I see it, he's just doing what is needed for the team, back in 2023 it was do or die for Yuki. Nick DeVries was made to look like he would bring the team up and place Yuki's seat in jeopardy, in the end that didn't happen with DeVries losing his seat before summer break and Yuki getting most of the points for AlphaTauri. The same thing is happening this year, Yuki is getting most of the points for VCARB and Ricciardo not so much, honestly Yuki has brought more for the team that they've realized and he's grown as a driver in my eyes. Yes I'll remember his rookie years as the hothead he was but now he has the capability and the car needed to bring in results for the team

Good video, I like your style of 'you' actually presenting, and not using some sort of AI voice. I think Yuki will stay at RB with Liam Lawson getting Daniel's seat. Barring some divine intervention, I don't see Daniel staying in the sport past this year. In 2026, as you said, Yuki could move to Aston Martin alongside Alonso with Honda power. If you are correct, and Papa Stroll sells 25% of his shares (hopefully with the buyer's condition of Lance not driving), then that could be a great move for Yuki. However, things are never easy and/or go as expected in F1. It should be fun to watch.

I think Daniel is a hard one to predict, much more politics involved than current driving form. If red bull are looking to sell their junior team, having daniel adds a lot of value to any purchaser. I would love to see Lawson in a seat though, he performed very well in DTM and in F1 so far.

On performance alone 100% agree but Horner and Marko seem to hate the guy. And the fact that they are looking outside of their pool of drivers says a lot. F1 politics are always in play. Unless max leaves i cant see yuki touching the RB seat.

He's washed. He got ousted of F1 while thinking he was too good for a team like Haas or Sauber when now it's clear he isn't. But his Renault days were still very good. Remember that their manager made a bet with him that he would get a tatoo if Ricciardo bring them a P3 finish, and he did that a number of times that season. His mistake was signing with Mclaren, not leaving Red Bull. In Mclaren is where he got cold for good.

Sadly i think Daniel is a great driver for a certain style of car and it isn't the current style of car we have today with the ground effect cars. I think the cars attributes that made him shine have been dulled.

He's NEVER beeen a good driver. People just liked his personality and so blindly thought his average driving was something of a great driver. He will never be a Hamilton nor Schumacher level of the best of elite driving.

His fall in form coincides with some big reg changes, so my guess would be that simply F1 changed in a way it wouldn't fit his style. Some cars fit some drivers more than the others. Some can adapt more easily, some cannot. I think Daniel is a driver that can drive exceptionally well, way better than anyone else, but in a very narrow, ideal scenario, where car behaves exactly matching his driving style. Unfortunately for him, F1 changed in a way it no longer suits him and he struggles because of that.

RIC's career was over when he decided not to fight Max at RBR. You could argue that maybe Renault/Alpine was a good gamble, but that went nowhere after leaving for McLaren... which, funnily enough, is on a super upwards trend. Maybe he just can't adapt at all to ground effect cars. I like Ric but running away from Max sealed his fate

I have never been a Ricardo fan and have always felt that he is still around because people find him funny and quirky and that doesn’t make sense to me. Especially when there are plenty of other talented drivers waiting for a seat. Can we please move on from him at this point?

The only driver that would have suited Audi better than Nico, would have been Vettel. And I don't believe he will ever come back to F1. Maybe Lemans, but not F1. He will most likely get a 2 year contract to see how he does, and then a up and coming young driver could take his seat as Audi improves. He is a great 'stepping stone,' if you will. I look forward to see how fast Audi can grow their F1 team. In LMP1 they showed up on the scene and quickly won 5 times in 7 years, so I wouldn't count them out to have results sooner, than later.

I love Daniel. However, how do we go from a young man that had all the confidence in the world to go to Europe and run with the best at his age level, to a man that ran from a challenge from Max. Yes, obviously, Max was always going to be the number one, but Daniel could have stayed, and they could have learned from each other while winning more races along the way. Then, bide his time to make a switch to a very good team when the time was right. But the ego of a F1 driver is a very fragile thing. When Max arrived, Daniel started blaming him, for his own woes. No longer was he the young driver rattling the old. The tables had turned. After finding the Renault car hard to drive, the McLaren hard to drive, and now the RB hard to drive, you are correct in saying he has always blamed the cars since he left Red Bull. This is classic manipulator behavior: they avoid responsibility for their own conduct by blaming others for causing it. One might also say a bit narcissistic. Narcissism can be described as a condition in which people have an unreasonably high sense of their own importance, and want people to like and admire them, and so they need and seek out as much attention as possible. We all know Daniel loves attention or he wouldn't act the way he does - something that we probably all love to see. I don't think he is destructive to others, but he sure is destroying himself - at least as an F1 driver. He does love being back home on the farm and he loves travelling, so perhaps he's just ready to do other things. He is very talented, as we all know, so maybe sports cars or LeMans would be a good place, since he would have to learn how to work as a team again. I do, however, believe his days are numbered in F1, and don't expect him to have a drive for 2025.

Danny's carreer ended the day he was blamed for the team crash with Max. This proved to him that despite his huge success, Red Bull had a favorite child and it wasn't him. This would ultimately put a dent in his confidence that he would never recover. He started being treated as a clear number 2 driver and he just couldn't take it. His huge ego betrayed him because the spotlight wasn't on him anymore. Instead of embracing the competition he tried changing teams but as we all know this just wouldn't work out. Every little battle from then on just further damaged his confidence until he was reduced to an underperforming goofball. Too bad because he had the world at his feet at some point but he let his ego get the better of him.

People seem to forget that he quite literally did crash last year at Zandvoort - and subsequently broke his finger! That's genuine trauma. Everyone keeps talking about "prime Danny", trying to push him to retire. The only time a driver should look back is when they retire. If the conversation changes, I'm sure we'll see a stronger Daniel Ricciardo resurge. With his skills, experience, and a good car that he can have confidence in, I'm sure we would see a more mature Daniel win races. That kind of talent doesn't just go away. The thing is, he (and perhaps all of us too) need to remember that racers live and drive looking not by looking at the track record left behind, but rather to the track ahead. His focus is unlikely to be there with the world shouting "You're done", "You're washed" and "Your prime is over" at him constantly. Also, f*ck Helmut Marko. He's like that negative uncle everyone just wants gone because he's always making inane comments to make himself feel important.

I think you are seeing with the ground effect cars which drivers can handle a car that is not constantly glued to the racetrack. Hulkenberg looks to be pretty competent as he is consistently getting into Q3, and scoring points, when the midfield is tight, and he probably has the 7th or 8th fastest car.
