When I was still new and naive (still is but not so much like back then) about the whole blues improv, I thought; 1. This is boring 2. Meh, how hard could it be? Only after a few years of trying to appreciate this kind of stuff, I realized not everyone can do this kind of freestyle format - especially if you don't have the pocket to do it. And pretending to be good at one doesn't help at all. These guys definitely are great players!

Quite nice. My son (16) and I are driving from TN to TX in September to see Jefferson Starship. Long drive 😊. Anyway “ My Best Friend” from Surrealistic Pillow and my son and are both think it would be fun to “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now” that has nothing to do with you all.

That's some gorgeous sensitivity and yes his tone is perfect, probably ML pickups. I am trying to figure when those were first made. Those high neck runs at 1:20 with volume swells are masterful.

wow, ronald bruner jr. in 2006 on drums with michael landau, he was probably one of the first to discover such a beast behind the drum kit, brilliant and astounding things happen

if he wasn't playing with Michael there, he maybe wouldn't be such a beast today
