I don’t know what it is, but there are portions on The Up Escalator (Paralyzed, No holding back) where GP sounds so much like Joe Jackson's lost twin, it’s scary 😉 Anyway - great album. Quite a mystery why it’s so overlooked (compared to Squeezing Out Sparks, for example).

Proof positive from Pete Seeger, Woodie Guthrie, and now Bruce, Bob Dylan, Joan Baez ("Joe Hill") that MUSIC CAN MOVE PEOPLE TO ACTION, MUSIC CAN INFLUENCE.
