Didn't know round ears are girls. Is that why Russ Lucky Troll with the gems are pointy ears or are they not from Russ?

The gems in the belly were Treasure Troll sold starting in 1992. The original Dam and some later model of Dam used pointy ears on boys. Russ trolls all had rpunded ears.

Greetings Troll Museum - I’m refurbishing a couple of my old trolls and want to replace their hair. What was used in the 1960s-70s for hair? I’ve been trying to tease out yarn but that’s not working well. The modern trolls have kinda short and thin hair compared to the older ones. Any ideas for nice big hair for my trolls?

What's the rarest troll you own? And how did you get it?

The rarest valuable troll type doll is a chicken bank prototype made by Tom Dam but never sold on shelves. I have no debut her at the Museum next. I obtained it with a buy of 1000 trolls and memorabilia from the creator of the Norfin troll doll franchise.
