Hii I was wondering how much it would be to go there for international student. I almost have my PPL but I’m looking to change school

Flight fees should be the same as regular students, I'm not sure about the tuition though. This page should help you out www.fit.edu/student-financial-services/tuition-and-fees/#

Ok fair warning, DO NOT GO to Florida Tech unless you have your PPL already. They already cut down our days by 1/3 as compared to last year, and there continue to be major resource issues. It also has taken people I know 1 year + to get their ppl. (even with 2 flying days a week, it shouldn't be longer than a semester.) Cool Video Though!
@ThatAvgeekKid2 ай бұрын
Yeah, it took me 8 months to get my PPL. But thats because the weather was uncooperative, I know people with the morning flight block got through it faster.

@@jdoe4983 I certainly care more about flight training than making videos, but if theres a way to do both then why not make it happen. Either way, I don't go out and film every flight I do, and I don't mess with the camera when in critical phases of flight. Sincerely me, Private Pilot

Not sure why pilots at a school need to be taught pre-calculus... simple algebra and geometry do the job perfectly fine. Also when checking the prop, use a FLAT HAND across the blade so you don't slice your hand open from any sharp knicks, or cracks.

Hi just had one question, what are the ways of like getting to the airport if we don't have a car for example? Does the university provide any sort of transportation? Thanks
@ThatAvgeekKid8 ай бұрын
There's a shuttle that runs from the campus to the airport every hour

How many classes would you say you have per day? And is that amount manageable
@ThatAvgeekKid9 ай бұрын
I get to pick each semester. Currently, I have 4 classes. Two meet on MWF, one meets MW, and one meets TR. It's very manageable for me. You can take more courses each semester, but I couldn't fit another one into my schedule.

Great video! I too am a huge fan of this great aircraft! I fly this route every summer being I fly to Melbourne, Florida in June for my annual summer vacation in Melbourne, Florida. I live in Southern CA. and I fly out of Ontario International Airport(ONT) via Delta Airlines to fly into ATL. Frem there, I catch a connecting flight into MLB. On the trip back home, it is the exact reverse route. From MLB to ATL. to ONT. The two flights into ATL and back to ATL are flown by this marvelous aircraft, the Boeing 717. I believe it is used as a shuttle craft for the flights back and forth between ATL and MLB. Yeah, MLB is one of the easiest airports that you can navigate in regards to both luggage check-in and the TSA security check like. There are only like 4 or 5 airlines that operate out of there, so the terminal and lines are rarely crowded like the other major international airports. The very first time that I used that airport was in June of 2016, but I used American Airlines because they had a sensational airfare deal on the internet. So I took advantage of it! But the norm for me is using Delta Airlines regularly to Central Florida in the summer. They are my personal preference and plus they primarily use that 717 between ATL and MLB as I mentioned. I used to live in Central Florida, specifically Satellite Beach, Florida as a child in elementary school from 1969 to 1971. We lived there because my late father was in the Air Force and was stationed out at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Cape Canaveral, Florida. But we actually lived in the old Patrick AFB south housing units, the base being in Satellite Beach, Florida. Only badged and uniformed personnel are allowed out at The Cape, which is why my mother and us kids had to live in Satellite Beach. So my dad had to commute out to The Cape from Satellite Beach when he reported for duty. We left Florida in 1971 and moved to Southern CA. where my dad was stationed and have been here ever since. But I come back to Central Florida every summer in June as I said being I am a huge NASA fan and love the pristine beaches out there. I went out there for the first time since we left in the summer of 2000 in July for my first vacation there. But I flew into Orlando International Airport because back then I had no idea that Melbourne. Florida had their own airport. All the other years that I went there I used Orlando International as I said. But I have used Melbourne International(MLB) consecutively since 2016 when going to Florida in the summertime now that I know they exist. I will never used Orlando International again to travel to Central Florida unless they were to close MLB for some reason. This airport is never as crowded as Orlando because it is nowhere as near as large as it is. I tell anyone who wants to travel to the Central Florida area to use MLB instead of Orlando International to avoid all of the stress and headaches that airport can bring. So like I said, you can expect to encounter near empty terminal buildings and small check-in and TSA lines at this medium-size airport. Even the lines at the rental car counters are relatively short. The only drawback as far as using this airport is you have to use the specific airlines that operate out of it. Not all of them fly there. Delta, America, Allegiant, and an international airline called TUI are the only ones that service that airport to my knowledge. So I hope you found this encounter with MLB interesting and enjoyable. I absolutely love it!
