wow i can't even imagine it. i mean these guys were all well established in their own rights, but then get to play the Beatles, what an honor it must have been. not to mention a lot of fun. regardless they pulled it off perfectly, both here and more importantly in the movie. Backbeat was an awesome movie. i say awesome in all the 80s meaning..well done gentlemen. very well done indeed. wish i could have seen you guys live.

We got to Baytown Race way..Houston Texas...drove from Laredo ...and we are eating breakfast and mixing Johnny Walker red,sprite ....smoking a joint.....two early Eyehategod type vatos come up.....and ask to sit in the pickup for a minute or two......free ACID......we got 2 hits of fresh blotter......it began to take off at the end of Green Day.....and peak mid L7....Sparks FlyingVee was rainbow visual..haha..just what the doctor ordered......we spent the night at Galveston beach.....swam the Gulf.....got a motel room ....and saw Taste of Garlic, Dinosaur Salad ....punk funk bands....fireworks.....huge bongs....a slinky girl riding me bronco in the mosh.....pure fun.....all the Mota we could smoke.
