Very lovely playing. I used to live right around the corner from this church. I had no idea it was so nice inside.

@@RodgersOrgans We had Dan Miller come to St. Timothy to show us what our organ is capable of. It is truly magnificent. When he pulled out all the stops it just blows you away! Thank you.

Noel Rawsthorne, the composer of these variations, passed away recently... He had a long life... I think he was in his late 80s when he passed. He also composed a number of other organ compositions which are not too terribly difficult and which are within the abilities of many organists....

Beautiful piece. How do you get a good recording of the acoustic pipes? Do you combine it then with a direct recording of the digital section, or rather record everything in the acoustics of the church (digital parts through their own speakers, in the ensemble)?
@RodgersOrgans5 жыл бұрын
Hey Max, our Pipe Integration Manager system integrates the Rodgers sound (which consists of hundreds of state of the art digitally mastered samples) and acoustic wind-blown pipes. You can visit www.rodgersinstruments.com/organs/hybrid-organs/hybrid-organs for more information. Thank you.

@@RodgersOrgans Interesting, so if I'm reading it right, you can route certain digital stops through actual pipes or to speaker boxes hidden behind the pipes? Very neat.

Before playing a Hybrid, I never liked the idea of mixed pipe and speaker. But having played a Hybrid with a Rodgers 2M console mixed with an exciting Reuter 14 Rank organ. Ive definitely become a big fan of Hybrid Organs.

Very well done piece on hybrid organs. Triune Music does exceptional work. Having recently had an Infinity 361 installed to replace another aging digital organ, I can speak from first-hand experience on the workmanship of Triune Music. While our instrument is only digital, it is an outstanding example of organbuilding. It should serve us for a long time to come.

I want one of these so bad! The church that I play at has an old pipe organ that doesn't have many sounds and some of them don't even work. The notes stick together all the time and many of the high notes don't play. It would cost over $50,000 to fix. It's just not an enjoyable instrument to play.

@@RodgersOrgans Yes,...Happy 60th,....I'm about to become a Rodgers owner. The little Methodist church I belong to is gifting me with an older Rodgers analog organ from the mid to late 1980's,....the church bought the organ back then. In the last year or two,they had no one to play it so it became of no use to them. The organ WAS going to be sent to a church in Haiti,but the Lord had other plans. For a long time,I was a fan of the "competitor" organ,...and was considering them,...but the Lord said "No" to that,..."I have a much better organ waiting just for you!" The Lord must have had a reason for leading me to that church! He had a plan and a purpose for it,....but I had NO IDEA I was going to receive THIS kind of blessing! I can't wait to get it home,and start playing again,...I miss my music!

I was so depressed to hear that Lowrey was, once again, going under. From what I see in the discussions in the Lowrey Organ Forum, and organ forum's, there isn't a single mention of Rogers made, or mention of an American organ company still in business. I don't know why, but please go on the forums and re-introduce your instruments, I think you would have a lot of people swooning over the possibilities of another organ that is still made in the US. This might blow some peoples minds!.

@NorfolkSouthern-xt3xx6 жыл бұрын
I'm inclined to agree with that,...even listening to it on a youtube video! I never thought I would say this,...but this little Rodgers organ sounds warmer,and even more pipe-like than Allen's Historique organs,...and I'm an Allen fan! LOL!
@NorfolkSouthern-xt3xx5 жыл бұрын
UPDATE,...in fact,...I DO agree with that wholeheartedly now. The Rodgers Inspire Series organ blow the Allen Historique out of the water. I'm no longer an Allen fan. The Historique from Allen sounds,...well,..."too electronic" and boxy! I've crossed over to the Rodgers camp,...I'm about to become owner of an older late 1980's Rodgers analog organ being gifted to me by the little Methodist church I belong to. It's the organ God WANTS me to have,...he planned it! So,...I've said "Bye Bye" to Rodgers' nearest competitor,and have come over to the Rodgers camp,...FOR GOOD!

This may be a Jelani Eddington "arrangment" of Give My Regards to Broadway, however it was written by George M. Cohan for his musical play _Little Johnny Jones_ which debuted in 1904 in a Broadway theater in New York.
