I tried to install it using a modern device And what happened was my device Got broken after I installed it instead it was unable to verify The v metta The worst part is our stuck and download mode and I cannot even exit out

The most ironic thing is that LOS 14.1 on this tablet is actually running better than stock, somehow. And remember, this tab was running android 4! and Lineage brings it up to 7! (also, that LOS 14.1 ROM was made in 2020. So, someone had a little too much time on their hands. 🤣)

Depending on how old your device is and its specs, it will can be slower, especially with the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. When I did my Galaxy SIII, it was faster because it didn't have the bloat that old TouchWiz had

I've killed mine twice but still got it to back using 'frp hijacker' . My tab ain't the same model but a little similar .I don't give up easily so ill be trying again till i get the results. If it doesn't work ill try something else or try it on my brothers tab which is exactly the same. Wish me luck

I finally had success on doing it on gex Wi-Fi Galaxy Tab a 6.0 SM-T280 mine was 5.1.1 also I'm a veteran game console modder new to rooting I have modded a Wii Wii U 3DS and DSi and now I have modded a tablet

Does it work on Samsung tab 2 gt p3100 ? As its very slow and almost not useable

It should most definitely work. I did get it to work on the similar Tab 2 GT-P3113, and I did get an overall better experience on that compared to the bigger Tab 2 GT-P5113 (I think that's the model). Keep in mind that the hardware is still almost like a decade old 😅

@@VictorDoesTech yeah, 1 gb ram is too low for today’s apps, so now i have decided not to install android 6, i just uninstalled all the old apps like UCweb browser and other bloatware which was sucking too much ram in the background, now only using this tab to watch movies ,installed Netflix, which works normal.

Cuz it can play games... But play them okish? I could play competitive FPS games just fine. Everything else needed better graphics

Hai Sofia! First off, thank you! Even though it's not really a tutorial. I actually followed a tutorial that I showed in the video 😅 Secondly, if your device is compatible with Lineage OS and Samsung Odin, you should obtain similar results, in terms of installing Lineage OS over to your device. However, 500 MB of RAM is not a lot... Even for back then. Your performance from that device will be SEVERELY limited. At least this is from my personal experience. I'd suggest doing a bit more research before proceeding!

I don't remember exactly anymore, but I think all of the apps that did require a newer version of Android did install did on my modded Tab 2. However, the Tab 2's hardware was so slow that I gave up. I'd probably have to really optimize that Tab 2 before I can do anything functional with that

@@AHRUZZ I didn't have a Bluetooth keyboard or a compatible USB-OTG cable to test that out. I'm pretty sure Bluetooth keyboards should be able to work 99% of the time
