This is an opinion. The following is a crit. Your flaws you left are just bad craft. It isn't about man or machine. Look at sculptures from the renaisance to modern art. They tried to make it as perfect as possible in the theme. Craft is about you. If you want dialogue about machine and man, 3d scan and print the bull and put it beside your own. If you want those marks, you carve the gouge because you want it there. It is the same as an painter would paint the rip or smudge. The same as sculpturor who would custom make an everyday object rather than buy it. Ask any craftsman or artistian about the representation and craft. Also you shouldn't have compromised on the horns with the brass. It would have been nice if you tried to use a brass billet stock. It would have been a foil to the brass bull on wall street. Now it is just another wooden bull. Just an opinion. It is still a relatively well executed piece, it had potential to be more.

Hi Blake, When casting your human/alien head sculpture, would it be possible to paint or apply some type of an opaque white or blocking background layer on the back side of the clear portion of your sculpture, before pouring the green resin for the alien part of the sculpture? This might be a solution for blocking the green resin color from showing through to the clear half of the sculpture. Just an idea. Not sure how, or if it would work. Always enjoy your videos! It's great to see your ongoing progression in learning new skills. Thank You, Jim Dasher Spectrum Graphics Seattle metro

Why not smash-up the Epoxy sheet by placing it in a plastic bag, and them take out the pieces?

Pretty good! My only thought is that the head should be just a built more streamlined with the beak. It’s a bit too round. Otherwise fantastic 👍🏻

I think if you did the same pattern with the timber but smaller it would look really awesome as a tail for a peacock.

Don't know if anyone speculated simple color theory but here goes. There are only 3 true, pure colors; red yellow & blue. Two warm, one cool. If you start mixing color pigments, it is possible to get warm blue and cool blue. Whatever pigments the manufacturer used to get your two blues, one of them had more yellow than you would notice, probably the light blue. Mixing those two would in theory give you brownish tones -keep that in mind for future. If you run an ice experiment again, use a true, pure blue and add clear until you are satisfied. Thanks for demonstrating the shattering experiments, that's exactly what I needed to know😅👍
