I have an SQ1 Plus and I changed the battery and the screen shows ROM 00 Dynamic Grand and it stays on that screen and doesn't make any sound and no buttons respond to me? Can you help me?

I haven't had that issue, however I found the following information online: Method 1 - To perform a hard reset on an Ensoniq SQ-1, you can try the following steps: Press EDIT SEQUENCES / PRESETS Press and hold SYSTEM (Bank 9) Press Screen (9), then release both buttons The display should say RE-INITIALIZE ALL RAM? Press YES This will erase all RAM and reset all internal programs with ROM sounds. Method 2 - Turn the unit off and then on slowly (at about 2 second intervals) seven times. The eighth time you turn it on, the unit will automatically reinitialize itself and should show the wake-up screen. I hope this helps. Best of luck.

I know this was posted a while ago, but I really hope you can help. I have this same record player but I use it as a stand alone player and not via usb. When I try to play the record, the audio quality is as nails on a chalk board and I don’t know why. Everything is connected properly through my preamp to my sound system. Any tips?

Hold down the cord retractor lever and pull the cord out at the same time. Then tug on the cord with some force a couple times. That shouod fix it. At least it fixed mine

Surprisingly good images for the casual or "LOMO" type user. Can be found for a LOT less money than on Amazon. But, unless you enjoy oddball cameras, a used Canon A1200 is probably a better deal for most people.

THANK YOU! I was taking it apart; read your note. Had to tilt the vacuum back to see the white lever inside on my right (vacuum's left) and pushed it with my screwdriver and it works! I also now am more familiar with the innards of my old vacuum cleaner.

I think that's the shipping weight. The unit actually seems to be pretty light weight.
