@@tulaytt Ugly buildings, terrible infrastructure, undervalued and unclean seaside for sea tourism, taking 10 years to restore an ancient castle, too religious+nationalist people, ridiculously hot and humid weather, untrustworthy folks, gypsies, no university, no high-quality private school, untrustworthy and corrupt folks, high prices of veggies & fish, xenophobia, irritating accents, immoral marriages, no centralized public transport, no international chains such as Burger King and H&M, too much mountainous that it takes 6 hours to get to the city centre, disgusting culinary culture, reinforcement of relatives/friends to high ranks, no taste of video games (I doubt that they get off those PS5 soccer games), and so on. Do you need further evidence?

The castle was built by the rulers of the Armenian Kingdom of Cilicia on the foundations of a fourth-century great location

Far from the madding crowd. Anamur Beach (Iskele) is a nice sea side resort to visit. Small hotels, apartments and cozy restaurants. Lovely beaches. Easily accessible by bus from Antalya airport (5,5 hours) or Gazipasa (Alanya) airport (2 hours). The main bus station (otogar) in the main town of Anamur is about 3 miles from the beach of Iskele. The town Anamur itself has a lot of (small) shops and is interesting to see. Do not forget the market on Saturday. The city bus and many small busses (dolmus) will bring you to the town and the surrounding villages e.g. Boyzazi. You will enjoy yourself in Anamur! Thanks for the nice video.
