In the Smart Car Charger 500 watt manual Warning section number 5 it says “Make sure the car is started before turning on the car charger”. When using my charger I would like to just keep it turned on since as I travel will be stopping and turning engine off to gas up then restarting and driving on and repeat this several times until I arrive at my destination. The charger and your Pecron E1500LFP power station will be in a towed camper that is locked and would be difficult to constantly turning it on and off. Can I just leave charger on until I reach my destinations? Thanks

Nice and clean setup! One question. The Pecron puts out 500 watts. How does your EF R2P limit it to 225? I thought I heard it’s bad to send too much power. I’m quite the noob. Thanks.

@bdmenne - Thank you very much! One of the perks of some of these power stations is that it is internally limited input. This is one of the reasons why the Ecoflow products (for the most part) don't have a bulky power brick. The solar input on this particular power station is limited as such. Think of it as the Pecron being an artificial solar panel.

@@JST4CYL excellent. The reason why I ask is I did the opposite to my R2P. I plugged a corded Leaf blower and The EF went very unhappy. I burned it up or it was defective. I thought it had surge protection in either direction, so now I’m gun shy.

Same thing happened to me, after I place the order, they told me shipment will be delayed, they offer me $10 off the purchase price, I’m okay with that since I’m not in the hurry’s.

Good yo know about the company's shady practices. I was looking into this but might try a pure sine wave inverter instead. I think that would work better and have more uses.

I own several Pecron units without issue. Ordered their smart charger and complained about the delay so they took another 5% off the price. Not in a hurry to have it anyhow. Thanks for this vid.

Thanks for taking the time to comment! We were going on a camping trip shortly after this video so I wanted to be able to use it in the event that I ran through the 2 add-on batteries for the Wave 2. And I was able to use the Wave 2 for about 8 hours without using any of the battery (pulled from my on-board 400ah bank).

Pecron is not an honest seller. They are taking orders charging your card immediately and not telling you this charger is not in stock! And maybe sometime in June! I found out 5 days after ordering. Buyer beware of this dishonesty.

I've had that experience on a lot of stuff. Typically, I buy stuff off Amazon so shipping isn't an issue.

I found out NINE days after ordering that they're not in stock and then only after emailing them to ask why it hadn't shipped yet. Didn't stop them from taking my money for a product they do not actually have. I wrote and told them they had 48 hours to issue a refund, or I'd call my credit card issuer and initiate a charge-back. That got their attention. Got my refund. What an awful way to run a business.

I received an email notification 10 hours after ordering that I needed to wait in line for shipment, stating that I would be refunded immediately if I didn't want to wait, I chose to wait, and they also gave with some small compensation to me. My experience was good. But this bro I seem to have seen you saying the exact same thing in a few places to review pecron hahaha, even though I only purchased their charger, it feels like they were a bit wronged if they suffered from you posting this review all over the place just because they didn't ship it for 5 days jajaja

@@hermw3484 couple dollars and they bought a fanboy. Way too many complaints on pecron to make lame excuses. I’m sure they are desperately attempting to save face by giving a few suckers a couple bucks to make excuses typical shady seller practice.

Thanks! I'm not sure why more people aren't talking about it! I suspect it will gain popularity pretty quickly. It is our camping rig! 2004 Yukon SLT 2500. 4X4, 8.1L, 4.10 gears. I'll try and do a walk around video this weekend on it. I just recently picked the Yukon up. I had a 2004 Tahoe and migrated most things over. Thanks for your interest! Hello. Im commenting here because comments are disabled on the Pecron smart charger video. Thanks for posting. I have one on order that I plan to use to charge my Ecoflow Wave2 and Bluetti power station. The m rated dc solar charging rate for the wave 2 is posted as 400 watts. Is that in line with what you are seeing as well? Thank you!

I'll enable them! Not sure why they're turned off. I was seeing almost 500 output from the Pecron charger and 40-60w was going to my fridge and I assume that the remainder was charging the Wave 2 as well as running it. I know that the power stations have hard caps. I have to charge one of the batteries so I'll check this evening. Thanks for commenting!

LOL^. Blind brand bias at its finest. I aswell have a 85 GT ttop car. Cheap junkyard build. Probably around 270ish rwhp. I've been beaten numerous times. Always faster shit out there.
