good vidoe man : for some context , I reached out to Andy Kramer, at Video Co Pilot , total legend of course. Was asking him too. we chat a lot he super helpful and of course a total legend. sure the feedback from him and me and the guys n girls in the studios will also help as compliment to your video , as yeah online nothing really seems to cover it , and such a simple thing that can be easily missed and leads to wanting to pull your hair out right . annoying to the max. yeah , basic set up you get a comp , and new sold ctrl+y , boom, name it as you want , let say E3D yeah. simple. need camera , boom add one. easy peeasie lemon squeezy shoud all be really straightforward from there yeah. we got layers in timeline , the E3D and the camera , just pop the element FX plugin to the E3D layer, ok ready to rock , need some assets on the E3D engine yeah., Ok so get whatever , say an OBJ , boom import that , then hit the advanced setting, and enable matt shadow yes. on the sub not primary , as obj , yet sub cat yeah. close that save it , get back to timeline . on AE ok need alight , choose what you wnat , as you said des not really matter , that is a personal choice but again as you said and here come a further subtilty, that might also be missed depending on what asset you imported to E3D, how and all that is that yeah , now you hti the lighting option in setting on timeline for the light yeah .....as you said drill down to the cast shadows ok. We never had this problem, we always knew how to do this without issue or problem , yet recently we got problems and no shadows showing up , so got online looking abotu saw your video and was liek why the hell this not workng , it always does, for us it was and might be for other further to your video , the E3D settings , use comp lights or not , or shadows enable or not and also you could think you done all that , but where my shadow man ? could further to what you saying in your video also : the light options as in : yes you need to click enable shadows of course , but you mighty not see them still and be liek WTF man i loosing my sh*t here , why they not showing up man, then you just need to with light settings , play wth shadow darkness and shadow diffusion, as those levels will even thoguth what you said mean you can or cant see the shadows , of course also , the position of the light will also influence the casting of shadows like if the light aint slap bang on the E3D element(s) then you got light off and woth the shadow darkness and diffusion you will be liek why they not showing up. great video , hoped this message helped to compliment it , and maybe go bit deeper to helping as using E3D and so many option you might be as you said in ur vidoe jesus why this not workng for me man , just tiny little tweaks that can be missed and need so much intimate knowledge of AE or E3D etc . kudo great video hoped my comment helped anyone as drove me crazy for few days on such a simple task , again udos to you and MY Kramer at VC. thanks all ! be safe LRJ®

Bit of both. I think any plugin that solves a single issue well is amazing but you only use it when that use case comes up - e.g. geolayers is amazing if need really detailed maps but outside of that I can’t use it for much else.

Learning Premiere Pro is maddening because I always have the simplest questions that zero videos address. Question: Can I create MOGRTs entirely within Premiere Pro? In other words can I create MOGRTs with NEVER OPENING After Effects?

Thank you for the wonderful tutorial teacher. I have a question apart from this tutorial (After Effects). If two circles (fill) with different colours meet together by positioning keyframes and making the third colour it works correctly. If I try with two strokes rather than fill they don't work as with fill. Could you please help me with this?

Lmao I can't even reserve more than 13 gb of RAM. And clearing the cache didn't do anything.

Not much you can do. 32gb would be my recommended level of ram to make sure you have a decent time. It’s a very ram hungry program

It only comes as an MFT. You need to buy an additional ring to change to e-mount.
