@@larryallen2327 the relay might be stuck in the on position. No harm in trying the replacement, it’s a cheap part and you can always return it if that’s not the root of the issue

Listening to first solo… Is it just me or does Coltrane sound different than other recordings? When it started I thought it was an alto, then as it went on I could tell it was a tenor. Just something different going on. Maybe a very hard reed…?

When I turn on any signal/blinker (left or right) at my Eldorado 2001 I do not hear (in the cabin) the signal/flasher sound (tik tik tik). Is this the right flasher relay I sound replace? Thanks.

Yes it’s a great horn for the money. I’ve seen them go anywhere from 500-1500 so I’d say that sounds about right in good shape

This is priceless! It fills the critical snd indispensable link keys to better understanding of the duo conception of Trane and Dolphy as a cohesive front line unit, and as Supreme Soloists in their own rights. They covered so MUCH of the permutations of their brilliant originalist ideas, that no stone was left unturned in their relentless search of musical progress up to those points in time. This is from the perspective of one who has been listening to everyone in the group individually and herein for 40+ years. THANKS!

I DO like Conn 10m saxes, and I have got even two 10M's :)) (also 16m, Pan Am and etc. :) One on them is the Lady Face, the second is just 10m by Elkhart with no Lady, late 60th. But the Lady does more fat sound which I mostly prefore...Anyway I do love both...I can play it as long as I can and want :) even neightbors sleeps weel ;-) 😉

Hi ! Additional information a,year later...I recently got one more 10M tenor, it's about 1963 year , sn: C091xxx, no Lady. But I have to say, that it's sounds even better than the Lady of 1958 year with the same mouthpiece, I did not even expect 8) maybe just the brass is more lucky...I do not know
