Is there a reason you keep blipping the throttle?? Thought maybe it was so it wouldn't stall.. I just ordered a 2022..

Looks like a fun ride! What gear were you in most of that video? I plan on doing mostly single trail riding and debating on the RX or X model. I've read the RX had the same racing transmission/gear ratio so it didn't like the slower speeds so I'm worried I'll be stalling a lot on the technical trails.
@DDBIKES893 жыл бұрын
It is the same transmission, went 1 tooth up on the rear sprocket, no issues with it stalling.
@xxthadinkxx13443 жыл бұрын
Yeah I went riding on mine yesterday I have the same exact bike. Mine kept wanting to bog down and stall if I didn’t rip it up hills and shit. Thinking about changing the rear sprocket like you did. Most of the time I like hauling ass through trails and sometimes I just like to cruise.

I wouldn't recommend either if you're doing single track or any slower pace style riding. Yz250fx is a great option.

Sick video! I noticed that bike didn't overheat at all in that trail. Do you have any modifications such as a fan kit or bigger water pump? Or is that bike's cooling system completly stock?
@DDBIKES893 жыл бұрын
Thanks, stock system, rode all summer with no overheating issues.

What caused you to go to far left on the trail prior to hitting the tree? I watched it a few times but didn’t see anything obvious. Thanks and keep riding Red brother! I’m a Honda fatefully as well!

Lifted the front tire a couple of inches, when it came down on the edge of the berm it pulled the tire left just enough to screw me! Ride Red!!!

how would you recommend the 450rx for trails and riding around ? is it too much bike or not? looking into either 250rx or 450rx
@DDBIKES893 жыл бұрын
Depends what you're used to, I came off a 2012 450R, the RX is a lot mellower than that, but it is still a lot to handle in the woods

How do you find the suspension? Looking at maybe upgrading to a new 21 when they come out. From my Old crf450r. I do mostly single track and just looking for your review on the engine and suspension. Nice riding. Thanks

Ridden gold valve Racetech tuned for singletrack in a 2002 CR250 and a 2012 CRF450R, it's a lot better than both of those for the woods
