Hey 4th horseman....starting pay for line haul is 21.50 (I'm in California) & at RL it's hourly pay for line haul. Some LTL co's are Mileage. Depending on what run you get as a new guy at the bottom of the totem pole, you may need to work the dock. Usually it's a Mon night thru fri nite schedule. Dispatch times anywhere from 7pm-11pm. Just depends on what run you get. Most ltl does slow down this time of year, it's typical. But if your interested apply. I did line haul for about 6 months. I could only get 4.5 hrs sleep. So I was happy to get back to P&D & be somewhat normal again. Not sure if your interested in P&D but it also starts at 21.50 Best of luck & happy holidays

@@TheSnowRacer888 hello. Our linehaul is hourly pay sir. I believe starting pay for p&d & linehaul is $22 and some change. Im not positive on what it is now. I drive the same truck for RL.......Automatics suck for P&D work. Maybe line haul guys like it better. I don't care for auto. Manual transmission is far better. I just don't feel like a truck driver unless im grabbing gears : ( The truck tells you what to do NOT you tell it. Thumbs Down on automatics

Hello R&L is ok...Starting pay is good. There's things i don't like. I've worked for UPS, FedEx & Saia which are all LTL companies, (I have 10 yrs experience in LTL) If you have at least 1 yr driving experience you can get hired at most LTL co's. If you want to get away ASAP then i say apply on line right after you read this ; ) Also apply to other LTL companies too like, Old Dominion, Estes, ConWay which is now XPO. INDEED.Com is a good website. Im in Central California & starting pay here is $21.50 ive been with RL for little over 1 yr now. Never answered a reply to a post before good luck to you. Driving truck is not the best job but it always be worse. I Hope you find something. if you have any more questions ill answer them for you Take care Driver
