When the credit coins hit 1st and 2nd line, then it has a chance to trigger that respin feature. Respin will occur again if one or two of remaining line hit the credit coin and so on.

I stayed in Park MGM. No freeplay as this is my first visit after 4 years. Still glad they were kind enough to comp my room for 3 nights. Not sure if MGM will give me freeplay in next visit.
