I saw Queen play live 5 times between the ages of 18 and 23... Leeds Elland Road '82 - Birmingham NEC '84 - Live Aid Wembley '85 - Newcastle St. James Park '86, also Wembley '86, three days later. I honestly feel that anyone who was of gig-attending age when Freddie was alive, but didn't see a Queen gig, has missed out on one of the greatest life experiences.

Same with me with Pearl Jam in the mid 90s. No comparison to Queen, but I feel the vibe bud.

These are my kind of people. Singing QUEEN or Michael and you are people. Also, no effing phones at a concert bc you are there for the experience. Job well done.

Coitada da banda que teve de tocar após este povo todo cantando! E de se emocionar, principalmente para os fãs do inesquecível Freddy Mercury!

It is often said that the wheel is man's greatest invention. I cannot argue that the wheel has had an indescribable and incredible effect on the development of civilization. But I can dispute that it is the greatest invention. I think that that honour must be given to music. What else has such power over every aspect of man's life? Look at the sheer enjoyment and fun that this song has given to the thousands of people who were present in Hyde Park that day and add to that the nostalgia and even a few tears that were experienced by viewers.

This was one of those rare lightning-in-a-bottle moments that has moved countless people who have seen the videos of this. Thankfully GreenDay and others had the wit to record and release what is a very moving experience for so many thousands.
