Car-dependent infrastructure and the money-draining suburbia with suburbanites carving through our cities, has really drained America's wealth and cities.

Holy Toledo!
@gobigrey93523 күн бұрын
I did fuel tank inspections and spent two nights there every single month for a year and a half. Hated that week but always loved that town. Made my way down from Clinton Iowa doing every Casey's on the way down. Spent the night and made my way down to Troy and back around a big loop through Illinois and would make it back to Quincy by around 9:00pm just to do another long day ending in La Harpe Illinois before the long drive back to Clinton Iowa. I'd get back home that night unable to even form a sentence. All I could do was stare into space. I did a whole week's worth of work in 3 days every month just to avoid hotel nights.
@exploreusacities3 күн бұрын
holy moly, you had to stop at every Casey's between Clinton and Troy?? That's like 4 million Casey's
@gobigrey93522 күн бұрын
@exploreusacities Casey's, Circle K and Sam's Clubs! Quad Cities, Burlington and Muscatine were on different weeks but everything else was that week. Nice to see parts of those cities that I didn't get to see. Thanks for the adventure!

Been thru Toledo a number of times. Found it to be very clean and well maintained. A really decent walkable downtown with a lot of beautiful historical buildings and friendly people

Love your content, but again, just want to know why no people anywhere? You log countless cities and towns, same deserted streets and suburbs. Where is everyone. Not exactly places tourists would want to visit as there is nothing to do, where do you grab a bite to eat? Watching your travel series has been a real eye opener, what a depressing place the US really is.

The population of Toledo is 250k people, so I guess you should call the Toledo Police and submit 250,000 missing persons reports

I-72 is filled with hood towns, something I see quite a bit on this channel. Starting from Chatham, head to New Berlin, then to the king of all hoods, Jacksonville, to Pittsfield, to Barry, finally ending at Quincy.
