I agree 100 percent. Instead of Soto, I would rather sign Alonso, Santander, and PITCHING!!!!!! Soto is not worth 765 million dollars. He is a great hitter, no doubt about it, but defensively is an average defender.

I think its ridiculous to throw away a chance at winning the World Series because of $57 million. This is probably Pete's last paycheck and it is his time to get paid. It went downhill since they decided to air Yankee games instead of Mets games. However even before then they had Met haters such as Fatman Francesca and the angry puppy Chris ( asshole Met hater) Russo talking about of nothing.

Of course such a big signing would bring out haters and such . From people who know very little about sports let alone be at the top of their profession. These guys couldn’t even make it in the schoolyard , let alone on a sports field
