It’s always fun to try something different and the octagons are a fun way to showcase all the flowers photos. We had a mosquito adventure once that was darn near unbearable. We were riding horses and the trail opened up into this great big Meadow. The mosquitoes immediately swarmed us and they were so bad my horse decided to lay down and roll with me on him. I had a roll of toilet paper in my saddle bag because we were camping and at the last minute realized we forgot to tuck it in the packs. My saddle bag wasn’t buckled so the toilet paper came out and rolled across the meadow unraveling as it went. It was so funny! 😂

@loramcmullen4635 I just use a binder from a local craft store. The holes didn't line up, so I did have to re-punch those.

The woodgrain papers are a must have! Every time you use that tool set I get inspired. I have all sorts of home improvement projects to document and I should work on those layouts. Love the photo of your husband under the hood 😂 We had old blue, a ‘49 flatbed dodge. My husband drove it around while we were in high school. He had aspirations of fixing it up but never did and finally sold it to one of his buddies. Now he has acquired a Chevy from the 70’s. I hope he gets around to restoring this one because it will be super cool.

I love how you used all woodgrain papers with your layout. They work great together and with your photos. Using yellow as an accent color worked perfectly and the splatters just pull it all together. Thanks for sharing your take on this sketch ❤

I take a lot of photos, too. 15-20 years ago, I would feel the need to scrap every photo. Today, I try to keep an event to a 2-page layout. Peekaboo pockets or flip flaps can add more pics. I love your layout!😊

Layout is lovely! Question , you said you gad 35 photos! I am guessing you will not print them. Do you ever regret not. I have 9 Geandchildren and feel events we have aboutv4 or 5 times a year almost require a whole album each. It us hard to cut down the number. But after putting pages in several albums and ending up with 4 albums for some years ,I am overwhelmed. Also, who will want as many albums as I will have??? They take a ton of space!

@gaylefarmer5946 thank you. I did not print all of them. I have really been trying to narrow down my photos to fit on a double page layout. Sometimes, I use flip flaps or memory protectors to add even more to those 2 pages. I totally know where you're coming from, I'm still in the recovery stage, but I like to ask myself if the photos help tell my story and if there's any similar that don't need to be printed. I do have separate albums for vacations or special occasions like wedding etc.

Can I ask what QR code generator you use? I generated a QR code for one of my home videos too, but now when i scan it, it tells me I can’t access it unless I pay. I’d prefer a free generator if you have any suggestions! Thanks for sharing your work, beautiful scrapping! 😊
