Great bike. The only things it needs is a springer front end, laced wheels, taller front wheel/tire and a bobbed rear fender. Thanks

Wow! Great rendition of a classic song. Sweet guitar lick Geo, and Mike's vocals were great. Nice job.

You need to set it for the corner. Other than that, nice video. '83, without power steering, is my fave. Simple and effective.

@MicMonty2 Second gear chirp, not bad. Upgraded clutch? I would hope so, cause that stock Rubber damper becomes very brittle after 25+ years, unless you found that out the expensive way dumping the clutch like that. Trust me, I know from experience my self :-D

@KronosVasilias You are very correct sir, however you forgot to mention that from 87-88 there was the 16 valve 2.5L 'S' model that boasted a bit more power, and slightly higher RPM and a little faster reving than the base 2.5 8 valve, like this peppy early model one ;-)

1983 - 1988 were 2.5L 944's. Early 89 porsche introduced a 2.7L to the 944's 89-91 944S2 had 3.0L

@ Krap101 I work with Graphite and Carbon everyday with lathes etc., we have a a huge dust collector w/ piping going to all the machines. If you dont work with graphite often, try a shop vac and run the hose near the work piece. Make sure you get the bag filter for the vac though!!
@MicMonty214 жыл бұрын
@krap101 It has an attached sucker system that draws out most of the dust. We have cut a great deal of carbon in the last year and a half and the interior of the machine still looks great without so much as a wipe down.

How do you deal with dust? Is there some sort of vacuum?

Yes you are right. There was a 2,7 too, before the 3.0, but when it came into play i have no clue. Sadly I haven´t got the "time" to get more in to Porsches ;)
