Add in all these predictions on popular shows seen by millions of people and in some of these maybe the collective belief that x will happen by enough people and x happens. So it sounds like glitter in reality is an industrial waste product of whatever it is they're making for the military. I worked for company once that made parts for the military. All the time we would get specs for things they would ask us to make. They didn't tell us what the part was being used for, or what it did. A lot of the times that was classified. A lot of the times you actually don't know what you're making - you just make what the ask according to specifications. Is it a lawn mower part, a helicopter, part of a top secret spy engine or the fan to a nuclear missile? You've got no idea, but you know how to make it!
