Yep! Russell had a great voice and I had the chance to record him on another original of mine a while back as well. When I first came up from Miami (I think Russ and Rob were both from Florida as well) to Memphis I had the opportunity to play with Suzanne and Pat Taylor and even though they appreciated me as a drummer all they talked about was how they Missed Russ because their vocals were so strong with him... Very Few people could sing like him and Kevin, You nailed it... Sometimes fame and fortune doesnt wait for some people, even when they are so much better than most. Additionally as a drummer I can tell you that he was under rated with his drumming. When ever I had the chance to take a break from Playing with Junction I would check out the willy's and thoroughly enjoyed his playing and singing. This is a great post and tribute. Thanks Kevin for taking the time to do this.
