Megumi was the one who had received the least damage in addition to being the only one in the group to possess a Domain Expansion. 2. Megumi refers to Toji as the perfected version of Maki, because although both have a Heavenly Restriction there is a clear difference in the level of both. This is because Touji does not have a single bit of cursed energy while Maki has a slight amount. 3. Because Toji was in "Berserker-mode" going on a rampage against any worthy challenger, taking advantage of his mind gaining a moment of clarity (recognizing who he was fighting), the only way to stop him and prevent him from continuing to attack Megumi was end himself. This is not part of your questions: 4. A few months ago you asked who was more powerful Mahito or Jogo. Well, this episode reveals the answer, within the Disaster Curses, Jogo is the one who has the greatest attack power and at the moment is the strongest of the group, however, Mahito is the one who has the greatest potential for improvement and at some point he would have surpassed Jogo. 5. What would have happened if Toji had gone against Sukuna? This is my personal opinion, after certain events and revelations later in the series, Toji would have bitten the dust similar to Jogo, since both are in a similarity of power, with Toji being a little better than Jogo (but just barely). Man, this was an incredible reaction. It kills me to have to wait until next week.

Even if a demon grew up with his parents, they would behave in the same way, because their behavior is not an environmental problem but a biological one. The mentality of a demon is what in real life we know as Psychopathy (ASPD), in the biological sense people with this disorder tend to have brain abnormalities, specifically an underdevelopment of the amygdala and the frontal lobe (as these are responsible for processing and understanding emotions). It's not that demons don't understand the difference between bad and good, it's that for them that doesn't matter, like true psychopaths they see and understand the world with cold and logical thinking, they only care about their own well-being and self preservation. Demons are incapable of empathizing with others, including their own species, since they only coexist with each other because it is the most effective (and logical) way to survive in nature.
