Like we needed that proof that Californians are brainless. Careless people causing fires, and crazy people not evacuating fires. I've been evacuated from out of the Santa Cruz mountains. It's no joke. Fire pathing can be unpredictable, and you never know if the winds can change. But to just blatantly stay in an active fire zone is insane. When I was evacuated, my neighbor stayed. Had the wind not picked up the way it did and let the fire jump over the hill over our houses, he would've burned to death in his house. Never would I not heed evacuating orders. Even warnings have me panicking. And I'm so on edge that I check the fire map nearly every day. And that gender reveal fire happened right after the Santa Cruz mountains caught fire from a weird lightning storm, which is the wildfire I was evacuated from.

I just have one question. Why does Amy, or Whitney Cummings, or any other terrible comedian still make millions of dollars? Why are they being supported? And along those same lines, why are there awful managers or CEOs making good money, when there are much better ones making the same or less? Where is at least some benefit or reward for harder working, smarter, or more competent people? Where is the meritocracy?
