Great runs! I'm totally stuck at the Wind wyrm + Ice wyrm... My KI members are pretty well built but seems like they're still not doing enough damage, and I just can't find online players for this quest.. I guess everyone defeats this quest once and then never goes back, which I can totally understand 😅

there was a point where I was actually farming this quest, you just have to switch between the two, the most annoying part of this is getting frozen by ice wyrm, so I was using freeze resist.

theres a way to try infinite sigils at the shop. Simply save your game -> use all your vouchers -> if nothing good, settings-> go to title screen . Come back, do a small quest and restart. I got all double sigils this way. Do it before it gets patched

With the new info on Curio types, these quests only give Curios of lower types. They're not very good. The best farming spot is actually the 3 monster quests at Proud difficulty. They can be AFKed and give Fortitude Crystals, Centrums, Curios of the highest type and materials to trade in for more Centrums

I think that was a Normal attack(Dawnfly Stance) if you didn't "Lock-On" to the Enemy, You can perform the attack in any directions. goodest_boy just read Maglielle's move like a book 😮

From one Narmaya main to another, I offer counsel. Try to use Transient while in Freeflutter stance. The damage is significantly greater. > 6 Freeflutter 963,875 > 6 Dawnfly 419,507 > 6 Dawnfly 423,854 > 6 Freeflutter 986,016 Some numbers from some testing I did, just so it doesn’t seem like I’m just talking to talk. Otherwise, thank you for the info on input buffering and defensive play. It’s super helpful. ^^

I definitely know what you mean. If I had a Terminus weapon for every time I missed, my whole crew could be geared, and I could probably gear the crew of like, three friends, too. Probably way more tbh. It’s really all about boss pattern recognition. When you see that the boss is stuck doing something, like when a Wyrm uses its breath weapon, slip in Freeflutter Transient. Otherwise, I’m sure Dawnfly Transient still allows you to get more consistent damage because of its speed. Or, when in offline mode, run your team with a little utility. I’m pretty sure Eugen has access to Paralysis, which can create openings for you to increase your uptime and potential to use more damaging skills-like a fully charged 6 butterfly Setsuna.

Just a tip, you don't need to loop 3 times after a link attack to do the hammer finisher. You get instant hammer finisher when you jump after a link attack. Also, you can do 2 loops instead of 3 to do the hammer finisher when you have the buff activated if you delay pressing attack a little bit going to your second loop. If you time it on your first loop perfectly it will count as two attacks.

do u actually need tryanny / injury to insult or even atk boosting sigils on zeta? mine seem to hit cap easily for the aerial combo loops.

That would actually depend on your Over mastery if you have added 20% normal dmg or skill dmg cap. Some moves or skills have different caps so you better check, if you are then no need for additional dmg sigil. How much are you dealing dmg with your arvess hammer?

I'm not sure, how much is your crit? If your having a hard time reaching 70-80% crit rate then try rolling for the Over Mastery, get at that +20% crit rate and normal attack damage cap and you're good. Also you can Imbue your weapon with Vitality Wrightstone that has at least lvl 9/10 Crit rate that should solve your problem.

Very Hard difficulty quests. If your team can AFK maniac difficulty i suggest Golemology 103. 😉 You get Crowning parapet that you can trade for silver centrum with Broken Savage sword you get from the 2 goblins who give a lot of Large Fortitude Crystals (Revenge of the horde)

the damage cap tho, I really wish we could do something about it without farming sigils or buffing the weapon, been wasting more than 50hrs alone for sigils V+ with damage cap on it or damage cap V+ I took the time farming the sigils while using Sieg to 100 him, after a while, it is just mid at best with his damage cap. Sieg is still strong and fun to play mind you, it's just on multiplayer with other people, he's not working as intended with his arcanes behind everyone.

The tech only useful when you want to do double perfect execution. 1 hit away from link attack. You do the tech and release perfect execution,do link attack then do perfect execution again. If you only do the tech and finisher. You will do less damage, less link and less SBA over all. Many players say he is a tank. Well I slap Flight over fight on him and it's work wonder. His damage cap so low. Damage panalty not really matter. 1 or 2 damage sigils and he cap again. 😂

Flight over flight, improved dodge, and any of the dodge sigils is probably his best sigils at the moment.

I'm playing on mouse and keyboard and I can easily hit his combos perfectly, without controller rumble and even without any audio (I sometimes play games on my laptop during school breaks :)))) I'm not at end-game yet though so maybe the final bosses will make it a lot harder?

He can tank though and most of the time he can maintain dps because of his gap closer, if only the game can tell us how much dps we're dealing after every quest.

What's the point of tanking in a game like granblue? All the bosses do AOE and at end game content, noone ever needs a tank or utility when they melt everything in a minute. It's a grind heavy game that rewards high clear speeds, not survivability.

I mean, if you do the techs: - You stun less. - You build less link when in link state making it run out faster. - You build less ougi/arcane. We are a large group of friends playing and there's 2 Siegfried mains there. They all have mastered the tech, and in paper it did sound right, but when playing together, they're always, ALWAYS behind in arcanes and do less than 10M in Bahamut, for example, whereas playing as intended we go easily twice faster and they reach 13-14-15 millions consistently. Also, he's strong because he can facetank pretty much everything without being behind in damage and can do stuff others can't without proper buffs. Kinda tiring to see people downplaying him like "he doesn't do much damage for all the effort it takes", when in the bigger picture he really does precisely because while everyone if being tossed around and having to do mechanics he's just there hitting almost the cap anyways when the enemy is in bloodthirst.

I actually agree, but I still think he needs a dmg cap buff, his difficult gameplay does nothing, timing the combos has no satisfying reward to it (not to mention the distracting effects and broken camera to ruin your timing) no wonder only few people plays this character.

The points you see at end aren't damage. It's just a non dmg centered mvp system. Shouldn't use it to measure char power.

@domas uhhm I actually know that bruh, I'm just saying that he needs a buff in damage cap to make him satisfying to play. Why do you even need a combo that needs timing if you're just going to tank damage? This is the reason why only few people play Siegfried, because there is no reward in his gameplay.

I did some testing using cheat table to double/triple his damage cap on the practice dummy. Without having the perfect sigils and no glass cannon but at damage cap you’re looking roughly 20 mil at 1 minute. At 2x damage cap increase you get roughly 30 mil at 1 minute. At 3x damage cap 40 mil at 1 minute.

Damage cap sigils are better. Crit damage won't get you past damage cap. Putting on both damage cap and crit damage does not do anything at all. You can try it yourself. You will know you are dealing crit damage when you see 2 exclamation marks after the damage numbers. If you have high crit rate, you only need to worry about maximizing damage cap, lv65 on sigils, satisfying the conditions to enable the catastrophe bonus from terminus weapon, overmastery bonuses, and mastery skills on offense tree and collection tree.

Haha, playing the same way spamming y attack all day. Imo you dont need the flight sigil as improved dodge, nimble onslaught and mirror image already let you dodge everything.
