This: "In 2021, a court order led to the almost complete emptying of Green Peter Reservoir to allow endangered salmon smolts to migrate through the dam. The drawdown was repeated in 2023, and will be repeated again in 2024."

This is a relatively close drive from me and it seems like a perfect place to take my son to fish for the first time. Is finding shallow areas accessible for some fly fishing and get him used to troptting aorund in the water? Any tips on where to check out?

Are there any channels that dont feelnthe need to dub music into every video? Would love to just hear the water, and ambient sounds. But everyone is just following trends, instead of just doing their own thing. The world is getting weird. Where trends dictate every aspect of life. And the people who are responsible for the trends getting popular in the first place, are more often than not people whonarent in any way involved with whatever the content is about. This was pretty cool. The obnoxious music was only in the intro. Thanks for that.

What rod was Bob Loomis talking about? Is it a custom rod that he had built for him? I like the sound of that rod spec he’s talking about. Sensitive for a walleye and strong enough to handle king salmon.

Saw a nice one pulled out Saturday. MORONS put it on a chain stringer! Our small lakes are getting overworked; lots of pressure with a growing population and the growing popularity of bass fishing. Let's keep these precious places what they are: try catch and release. Once you start you'll never go back.
