If you haven’t read the Hidden Legacy or the Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews, I highly recommend them. They are a fantastic urban fantasy series and I NEVER hear people talking about them. I’m reading the Kate Daniels series right now and I am loving it so much! ❤ It is so under-hyped!

I loved love letters by the author. It was really good and that’s the only book I have read by her.

One thing I did love about Lillian is that she essentially saves herself at the end. She picks the lock on the handcuffs and the door and escapes. It was great that Westcliff arrived downstairs when she escaped but she still got HERSELF out of that room. Love that feisty, tough, American spirit. She wasnt going to let herself be a victim.

Thinking about songs that go with romance novels... I think Lover, You Should Have Come Over by Jeff Buckley is the quintessential romance novel song.
