Wow, have never seen this before. Amazing that Steve could get all this talent together. Wonderful and so very different from what passes for TV today.

I'm VERY interested in the technical side of this clip. It sure looks like they're not lip-syncing, which begs the question..... is the microphone hung above them? They're definitely not dragging any wires behind them. In today's TV we wouldn't worry about this, with all the wireless technology and all, but I'm just curious as to how they technically pulled this off. Beyond wonderful !

At 2:50 Dinah Shore introduced "Frank" (Sinatra). I read down quite a way in the comments and saw no mention of him.🤔🤯😬 Honestly, it looked like Sinatra from a fashion standpoint, but the voice didn't sound like Sinatra to me. And the film was so blurry that I couldn't ascertain if it actually was Sinatra.😬🫨

I saw this when it was broadcast live and never forgot it. Dinah then showed Steve how her show started each week with an introduction and an opening song. I wish the latter would also be posted.

All of these great singers . All we are missing is Connie ! This great era is not coming back . Today there are contemporary girl singers on American Idol who can't even enunciate properly . They will ' sing ' Connie's song Where the Bys Are by saying Where the Boy - ees Are .

I can't get enough of this. I like everyone in the video, but I just love love love Steve and Eydie ❤️! I'm almost 65 now, and I have fond memories of seeing them on variety shows in the 60's and 70's. One of my few regrets in life is never having seen them perform live. ❤❤❤❤️💜💜💜❤️❤️❤️❤️

Hello there, I have analyzed your KZbin channel and found out some problems, do you want to talk about it for a while? l realized that your videos aren't getting enough exposure. I have also watched some of your videos and loved them. I think videos like those should get more views.

The gentle camera push in on Dinah, right before she intros “Frank” with the Camera becoming wider - and returning to the group as they enter Dinah’s Studio is just one example of the creative artistry of this magical musical sequence. Let’s give some credit to the artistic camera operator and team for their part in this perfection. I also like how Steve Lawrence gently guides Ann Sothern into Dinah’s studio, ensuring she doesn’t bump into the scenery.

This was an AMAZING number which demonstrates just how talented the Stars of yesterday were and how dynamic TV used to be. On this sad day after Steve Lawrence’s passing, I went looking for some of his wonderful performances on KZbin and came across this gem. Thank you posting it and Thank you Steve Lawrence, Eydie Gorme, Steve Allen, Dinah Shore, Ann Southern, and the Frank Sinatra imitator.
