Yah, i guess u had to be trippin to get through that! I saw him 'bout 10 yrs later: incredible NY eve show @ Pauley Pav. Terry Bozzio on drums. Dale popped in, but she didn't sing; this was hubby's nite. Soon after, Missing Persons were found (ed)..check out the set @ US fest 😎

I saw the Flo and Eddie band in '71 in Berkley/SF (?). They were great. But I would have loved to have seen the original Mothers.

When the public respected real musicians like this society was just better off in general. Now we're just trying to make sure we don't hurt Sam Smith's feelings

Great album but let's be honest, Zappa pushed himself up so far in the mix that you could hardly hear the other musicians on some songs. So a new mix is gonna be sweet. 🤯👍

Frank gave Mark and Howard that name because they could not legally perform under their own names because they were signed to another label I believe.

Like a tool, I didn't cross town to see him when I was doing my first post-university job in London in 1988. I didn't know I was going to turn into a Zappa bore a few years later, and that MAJNH was going to be my favourite album for life. Could've been around for the Chunga's Revenge encore. McFuck!
