Yah, i guess u had to be trippin to get through that! I saw him 'bout 10 yrs later: incredible NY eve show @ Pauley Pav. Terry Bozzio on drums. Dale popped in, but she didn't sing; this was hubby's nite. Soon after, Missing Persons were found (ed)..check out the set @ US fest 😎

I saw the Flo and Eddie band in '71 in Berkley/SF (?). They were great. But I would have loved to have seen the original Mothers.

Great album but let's be honest, Zappa pushed himself up so far in the mix that you could hardly hear the other musicians on some songs. So a new mix is gonna be sweet. 🤯👍

Like a tool, I didn't cross town to see him when I was doing my first post-university job in London in 1988. I didn't know I was going to turn into a Zappa bore a few years later, and that MAJNH was going to be my favourite album for life. Could've been around for the Chunga's Revenge encore. McFuck!
