Awesome, I am glad it helps, if you want to change octaves with the Ableton pitch device you can "Shift" - "Up or Down" to scroll through octaves.

I always look for tracks with good intros and outros so I can incorporate loops or beat repeats or other effects, to achieve a smooth or exciting transition, depending on the effects I use.

Yes, if you go to your audio clip settings in the bottom left to the "Pitch" knob, hold "Shift" and use the "Up and Down" arrows after selecting the "Pitch" knob under the "Gain" slider. This will change pitch by octaves.

Actually, I found this to be the easiest way: On the original Ableton MIDI "Pitch" effect, hold "Shift" when pushing the "Up" or "Down" arrow, and it will change by octaves leaps.

at 3:52 how did you (maybe) "right-click" and add a utility? rather than dragging one onto the track it looks like u programmed ableton to add effects/instruments/midi pitch with a right click. how did you customize that?

Good Question. I use the "Live Enhancement Suite". You can get it here: enhancementsuite.me/ It is actually fastest to push "CTRL-F or CMD-F" and type "Utility" and push "Enter"

I am on the road right now but as I remember, If you hold shift and drag on the regular Ableton midi pitch device it goes in octaves. Sorry it’s kinda an old video, I fount this out after I made it.

You can't choose a song from the TikTok sounds library to put with your song in the desktop web app version. You will need to have the song embeded in the video you upload. If you upload it on the mobile app you can choose from the TikTok sounds library by pushing "sounds". To upload your own music you would need to use a music distributor or add it to your video like I describe in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/d3vLl4WIaZtsmtU

No, once you post something to TikTok, you can't change the descriptions or songs.

When i upload videos from my gallery, Tiktok automatically set the sound from Tiktok, and i cant remove it from the video i uploaded to get my original sound

Usually you can set the sound in the "sounds" button on the bottom left after you upload it. You could select a "sound" from their library then click "volume" to adjust how much of their sound and your original sound is mixed. Or you could not select one of their sounds so it only uses your sound. If the sound you had on your track matched to one of their sounds it might automatically replace it with their sounds so the songwriters get credit and the links go to the songwriters and artists sound. Hope that makes sense.

I have a question plzzz 😩 I’ve been trying to figure it out and I can’t 😭 How do you link the sound credit so it’s clickable? So for example, I used a video editing app to merge two clips together and half of it has a Megan Thee Stallion song and half of it is just background noise from my video. It comes up as “original sound” by me and I get to the part where I can change the title but I’ve seen people do this like “Contains music from: ... (insert whoever it is)” and this bit is a hyperlink and takes you to the actual song. How do I do that? Please help! Thank you 🙏🏼

After uploading the video you made into TikTok there is a button on the bottom left that says "sounds". You then have to select a sound from their library to make a clickable song connected to your video. You can mix the volume of each sound, your sound and the one from their library if you again go to "sounds" then "volume". I think then, it will link to the sound you chosen from the library not your original sounds that were uploaded with your video. Hope that helps.
