what type/brand soybeans did you use?
@KandKFarmImplementsLLc
@KandKFarmImplementsLLc 7 ай бұрын
If I remember correctly the brand was “eagle” foraging soybeans. For what it’s worth they did excellent for me, but I have a well balanced population. My buddies planted them w/ higher deer populations and were a little disappointed. Apparently the deer just kept them mowed down and never give them an opportunity to grow. I appreciate your question/comment.

Hi! You probably said this in the video, but are you fishing in the Edisto? If so, what part? I live not too far from a couple landings, so I was wondering if I would be able to catch a few jack fish in the river near me. I’ve always been interested in jack fish since I’ve ever seen them because of their teeth. Anyway, Keep up the good work! Love your videos! God bless :) Edit: Never mind I just heard you say in that video you where in the Edisto lol. But still, what part of it?

Hey Kaipo I generally fish in the upper parts of the north and south forks mainly Aiken county, but there is a good population throughout the Edisto. I try and fish all the public landings. Seem to do a little better w/ jack and bass in the fall, but I do catch them all year. In all fairness I do focus on panfish/catfish till the fall. I hope this helps and I appreciate you commenting

I would recommend reading the label to find out what the maximum active ingredient is per year. I have sprayed them multiple times in the past and mistakenly over done it. It really won’t hurt the sunflowers but you can get a build up in the soil that can really hurt future crops. I use panaramic which is a generic cadre. I’m not super happy as I now have pig weeds that are resistant to it, but still use it because I don’t know of any real good alternatives for broadleaves. Crossbow is a brush killer, so I would be very hesitant to spray that on sunflowers. I hope this helps. Thanks for commenting

The Edisto river is my heaven on earth. I recently was given a super sneak from my “father by law” . How long does your battery usually last you? And what type of battery do you use? I’m going to be using it to duck hunt out of. Most likely going up river from canadys. Wanting to know about how far it would get me. TIA
@KandKFarmImplementsLLc
@KandKFarmImplementsLLc 3 жыл бұрын
Hey Mr Lemacks I use a interstate marine battery. It’s kinda hard to say how long a good battery w/ a full charge will last. It depends on length of travel and flow of the River so much, but I do remember last year I traveled at top speed down River for approximately 45 ( 55lb thrust motor) minutes and then fished my way back ( against the current) and made it back on a wing and a prayer. That gotta a little scary!! I wouldn’t trust it over 30-35 minutes at top speed going down. Going up River I would let it roll and have a good paddle just in case. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching and commenting!! Ps. Good luck w/ those ducks!!!

Just found your videos, great content. I am working on plans for a dove field next year myself. What type of sunflowers did you plant?
@KandKFarmImplementsLLc
@KandKFarmImplementsLLc 3 жыл бұрын
Hey Jay There are several different brands/names that are available. Clear field #3 or #4 (seed size)is what I generally plant, because of availability in my area. Just make sure it is a variety that is herbicide resistant. The brand name chemical that you can spray on them is cadre ( however there are generics of the chemical as well). At one time it was a great chemical and would pretty much take care of most any weeds, but there are some resistant weeds now. Unfortunately the seed and chemical are expensive, but there are some place’s online that will sell them by the pound. I appreciate you commenting

No, what is sad is there are such ignorant uniformed folks that feel the need to comment and impose their opinion about guns, hunting, and heritage.
