I grew up about 200 feet to the south of that view. I sat on the cliffs between d st. And e st. Watching the surfers, the porpoises, the seagulls and the bikinis. I lived there for 10 years. I am now 64 years old and it’s been 48 years since I lived there but the memories of summers with friends at Moonlite beach and fishing for sharks at d st and just the serenity that this view imposed on my entire life will never leave my soul. I guess I’d be considered a tourist now but Encinitas is in my being.
