It's Seattle...it is a symbol of how the city has taken a downturn. 😅

Fire works are WAY better!!! These shows are pretty low energy, cool in their own right but no replacement for real fireworks

I'll stick to the real ones. This is like watching generic fireworks.

Thank you! Great videography and music. The rain enhances the Seattle-ness of it, and reflects the colors so beautifully. While it's not a comprehensive tour of all of it, it gets a lot of it, and it's just very well done! I'm sending your link to a friend in Mexico so she can enjoy your trip through the lanterns! (for her use only- she's a visual artist and a former vet- this will delight her!)

I was expecting a car to come up from the other direction first!! Seriously, with the bridge closing at the same time as the lockdown started, this to me feels like the pandemic may be over at last.

My apologies if I have no clue what I am talking about, but how exactly does this prove anything? I equate it to me being 150 lbs. and getting onto my eBike which is rated to carry 250 lbs. of “cargo.” Would that be a true representation of a load test? Strategically placing a bunch of half-empty dump trucks along certain spans of the bridge won’t reflect anything IMO. Considering how much real world stress these “repairs“ will have to take when traffic is bumper to bumper both ways. If someone would like to enlighten me, please do so and thank you!

I use to drive over that thing hundreds of times & over the viaduct. Good times. My old man drove like an old lady over the w.seattle bridge tho.

The mural is on the side of the SeaWest Building....The building was built by Doris Richards and Warren Lawless....both of whom worked at the Herald together....later they bought West Seattle Associates from Ted Best and continued publishing the West Seattle Directory...which later became one of the original Banana Pages Telephone Directories...That company grew to 42 printed neighborhood phone books in Greater King County and Portland, OR. The 3 gentlemen standing outside of the mural and looking up at it are John Enger, with Peter and John Richards...the 3 of them greated the Banana Pages Online, the world's first online yellow pages.

That dispatcher should be fired. She could've gotten that man killed telling him to empty his gun and walk though his house, which has become the scene of a deadly, violent home invasion without means to defend himself. Police are supposed to CLEAR THE HOUSE FIRST *THEN* go and make contact with the victim afterwards. Not the other way around.

I wonder why you aren't allowed to vote cause you can't come up with anything besides ad hominem's, you are really uneducated. think of real reasons besides your feelings
@kameronport8 жыл бұрын
Actually, The reason why we weren't allowed to vote is because, People believe that politics aren't a big deal to young peoples. If you weren't such a fat lazy hog, I would tell you to look it up so ill just say some information here.I'll also go ahead and dumb it down for you, so that you can understand. Millennials can't vote because the government or whoever feels like there would be a lot of mistakes made, and they can be easily manipulated. I believe that the voting age should be lowered, and that 16 and up should be able to vote. If they can put 16 year olds' behind the wheel of a 2,000 pound automobile, we should have the right to vote. Until Then, they should at least try to get us politically involved.
