Hi was looking at this axle back as my suitcase on my SS is not loud it sounds like nothing how is it now did it calm down was looking at MBRP a little less money just dont want to waste money so how much louder is it than stock and love the color of your car awesome.

I backed my wife’s Jeep into our neighbors mailbox. Got a few deep scratches. She’s pissed. I’m in the middle of using this system to repair. I can say it works but there’s a learning curve. I’ve found using the backing pad when doing the blending isn’t necessarily the best way to blend. I’ve found cutting the cloth (not the microfibre) into 2”x3” rectangles, folding them and gently using my index finger to target the overflow and overbuild works pretty well. But it ain’t perfect. I’ve got 2000 grit sand paper to wet sand the localized areas. Gotta fill the scratch, but also need to blend everything together. This works well enough to justify the $30 I spent. The color match is good on my application. But in order to blend everything properly I’m gonna wet sand with 2000, then hand polish with a fine compound polish to distribute the reflection from the clear coat over a broader area.

FYI ... Directions say to apply the included wax after blending and letting the paint dry for 20+ minutes.

I just installed the digital rear view today. Full set up. I was able to snap the one mirror from the hall mount and add my new digital camera on the pen hall mount. It fit perfectly. I then ran the wire from the new DRVC through the small hole in the pen ball mount, and ran the wires behind all the pillars, down the door trim and up to the rear fuse box. Pretty simple after you do it once. I have my camera mounted on the inside of the back window lid, waiting for my exterior camera housing to come in so I can install it like you did. Turns off with the car and back on when the car starts up.
