You can absolutely relax while you're taking your shower. From a Healthcare point of view, running water next to the toilet helps to calm some of my patients down, thereby relaxing their minds as well as their bladders, making it easy for them to urinate

@Cloboehobo :3 some people have health challenges that makes their flow a bit challenging even when they have the urge, so running water next to them plays a psychological role in helping them go.
