Great video... You said you don't like to go down on gear ratio.. What you use 6-7 years ago. You didn't speed reel the bait.. Just wondering cause i like a 5:8:1ratio.. I seem to get bit more than a 6:4:1.. Why would that be?

Ok, you see boy’s and girl’s Randall’s jig fishing is from that era when we had Uncle Josh #11 and #1 pork trailers. (Yes, actual pork) He even rigged that plastic chunk like we all did years ago with the fat side up and the skin down.

Great tips. I fish from the bank so my weight range is 5/16 - 1/2oz. Start at 3/8ths and adjust from there. I agree about using too light of a jig. I’m finding the more comfortable I get with a jig, I’m starting to rely more on the 3/8 to 1/2oz vs 5/16 - 3/8oz.

Absolutely love Ark’s Invoker Pro Series 7’4”composite rods. The sensitivity is amazing. You can feel the crankbait’s wobble and if it’s digging bottom. They have the perfect amount of bend to keep bass pegged.

I just figured this out about the fish being so tucked in you can’t see them. I was scoping structure, and didn’t see a single fish. I dropped down on top of it and three fish came off bottom for my scope shad. I fish primarily spotted bass lakes. These help tremendously.

I love my ark rods from Tharp to my inbiker pros. Saying they're the best made is a stretch. They are great especially for the $. So are Dobyns fury series.
