I love the fact the game is based on freud psychoanalitic theory, when ID is a soul edge ( primitive and destructive), alter ego as soul calibour (evil order) and Patroklos just as "you" (ego), being in the middle.

It reminds me of dies irae scenario, where people will be judged by both the devil and god.

I don’t care what anyone says, I think the intro to this game kicks ass!

Even though it’s probably the weakest game in the franchise, I think it concludes Siegfried’s story and arc perfectly. How he goes from becoming a victim of Soul Edge, followed by being the wielder of Soul Calibur. He defeats Soul Edge, rebuilds the Schwarzwind (except he reforms the clan from thieves to mercenaries), and becomes Soul Calibur’s guardian.
