Dasp is soooo op and it’s my fav Dino and has been before the buffs. Even before heavy bite was added I always loved dasp for some reason. But I have a feeling in the next major update heavy bite will be reduced from 120 to like 80 or 90. It’s just too good lol

A small suggestion for anyone who ends up being attacked in desolate pass. If you can make it to the swamp, go there instead of to the home cave. You’re far more likely to escape, especially if the aggro group has small things that can’t swim well.

Addendum, if you’re fighting an argent, you need 7 bites. Pierce bite does 150 base damage while negating combat weight or armor. 4x tyrant roar buffs your damage 1.44x and if carnage buff is active.. an additional 20% damage boost, making every pierce bite 260 damage! 😮

Old clip before Dasp bites were unlinked. If you’re a Dasp and you’re fighting a sucho: 1) always assume they have barrage 2) bonebrake and cycle pierce or heavy bite. 3) don’t be impatient (like I was) and wait out the 6 second barrage stack. 4) rinse repeat, Win the fight.

Idk, the devs need to enforce party limits and mix packing rules or something... it makes official pretty hard to respect. When ai dinos come out, imma probably strictly play single player/private 2-4 player mostly. I really just want a Dinosaur simulator, not a Discord bully session.

To be fair y’all were also mixpacking, if you’re going for realism realistically a Dasp and metri and pyc wouldn’t be chilling together killing shit, it’s not any more unrealistic for a hatz to be with a sty than it is for a Dasp to be with a metri, both groups were mixpacks, that being said people who get huge amounts of players to fight cause they’re terrible at the game is pretty embarrassing, especially when they say L afterwards
