If Shelley Hack had been in the show at the start she would have been my favourite of all the angels. As it was, Jaclyn Smith was my fave but Shelley came a very close second.

Farrah got all the attention , deservedly so, but Kate was really the glue that held it together. My sister’s fave was Sabrina as she used more of her brains and less of her feminine wiles to get the job done.

Cheryl Ladd never got along with Kate or any of the other actresses she worked with. She only befriended Jaclyn so as not to be found. Kate and Jaclyn (and Farrah) became close friends from the get-go!!! The had chemistry onscreen and off and it showed! They became best friends: Jaclyn was there for Kate when she had breast cancer and vice versa. Kate became godmother to Jaclyn’s daughter and Jaclyn became godmother to Kate’s son. Kate and Jaclyn are close friends to this day! There's this beautiful photo of both of them when Kate was invited to Jaclyn's son's wedding last year. And recently Jaclyn said on social media that Kate is a dear friend and she loves her. And of course she posted pics of her and Kate on Kate's birthday four days ago calling Kate "my friend for the ages".

Takes two to tango. Kate and Jaclyn have been close friends (along with Farrah) from day one!!! They are still close!!! Recently Jaclyn said on social media that Kate is a dear friend and she loves her. She posted this picture of herself and Kate when it was Kate's birthday on Oct. 29. She called Kate "my friend for the ages". Beautifully said.

I liked Shelly Hack, she was great and only on for one season, that was when CA began to dip into popularity in the final years. And she was great she and Tanya Roberts were both great. There's no doubt about it.

Kate Jackson was the heart and soul of the show. Farrah made the show really popular, but Kate was the one who made the show what it was, so they were doomed after she left. I think Julie put something in it, but by the time she came it was too late. The casting of Shelley Hack ruined the show, not Shelley's fault just not a good situation with Kate leaving.

The other Angels actresses owe everything to Kate. She invented this show and was the best actress, the unsung hero of the Angels. If it weren't for Kate none of the other actresses would have ever been heard of.

Lee Majors was an Old-school Southern Man & Farrah was no longer "Mrs. Lee Majors " divorce was eventual. I wish Farrah stayed a little longer ( at least 2 seasons) like Suzanne Somers did with Three's Company

Sommer's stayed with Three's Company, as she had no choice and couldn't leave for fear of being sued (again). Even though she had signed up for 3 new shows with another network. Plus, the 3's Co. producers sidelined her by only filming her very short scenes separate from the main cast.

Jaclyn Smith’s take on Tanya Roberts was hilarious. She cut her eyes away from the camera and says “….she brought an earthy quality to the show..” In other words….”She was trash. Trash!”. LOL.

A lot of people are not aware of Kate Jackson's great contributions to this show! First of all Kate had signed a seven-year contract with Spelling-Goldberg to do The Rookies. She was committed to do another series with them if The Rookies got canceled before then, which it did. That's why she was Angel No. 1 and co-created the show (but was never credited for it...). She did four seasons on The Rookies and three on Charlie's Angels So this is what happened: Producer Leonard Goldberg had originally pitched the show as „The Alley Cats" - The trio were written as sultry, leather-clad police officers. When they pitched the idea the executive Eisner said „this is the worst idea I’ve ever heard. You should be ashamed of yourselves“. So it didn’t happen - yet. When they had a meeting with Kate Jackson she didn’t like the show’s name either. A seasoned pro by that point, Kate was the first to be cast. It was Kate's idea to call them „Charlie’s Angels“ and that the trio be private detectives as opposed to the originally proposed police officers. She also suggested to have them take orders over a squawk box from a never-seen boss. Spelling loved her suggestions. So did executive Eisner. Goff and Roberts wrote the pilot for Charlie’s Angels based on Kate Jackson’s crucial ideas! Goff and Roberts subsequently left the series, and Goff had said "[the producers] wanted us to write in a lot of car chases and to put guns in the hands of the girls; we walked.“ The show as we know it would've never seen the light of day without Kate Jackson.

Kate really made it happen! She deserves A LOT more recognition! I watched for Kate. Gorgeous and incredibly talented lady. Also loved her beautiful, silky, shiny, sexy hair. Unlike the Barbie doll angels, Kate dared to be different and that included, no boring big hair but a cool bob that suited Sabrina and helped balance out the show. She was ahead of her time in so many ways.
