Lock tite and proper torque are keys to a reliable mount. You missed those. Marking the screw heads helps if issues before problems tol.

screw already came with Blue LT - lots of folks skip the torque wrench, actual real shooters, and go snub plus an 1/8 turn or so. I have tested torque wrenches and unless calibrated fairly often they go out of spec. Bob in Nevada

@Woodstock271 Жыл бұрын
Good idea. My Holosun did get loose for the same reason his probably will. I took off the plate and screwed the optic on but forgot to clean the factory oil out of the mounting holes on the slide. The blue Loctite on the screws did nothing. The optic was a little loose after a hundred rounds at the range. I took it back off and cleaned out the screw holes with alcohol on a Q-tip, then added new Loctite and torqued it back down. Been solid ever since. Lesson learned.

@@RonnieWanKenobi17 so why is everyone saying these MOS versions need tall suppressor sights for these RTRs?
@JSpidey Жыл бұрын
@@mikeprice8307 You don't need suppressor sights with the SCS, the SCS mounts directly to the slide and co-witnesses with ironsights. Most RMR's require a mounting plate and they tend to sit much higher.
