Can you custom make these fittings with a -6 an male on the opposite end? I am working on a mid 90's Ford EFI system and need some conversion fittings i cannot find anywhere.

Have you faced a situation where the male end just won't connect? I'm replacing the AC components on a F150 with Four Seasons parts, that includes the Four Seasons accumulator and evaporator. I cannot get the accumulator hose to connect to the evaporator port and I'm applying a lot of force. I got another new accumulator and it has the same issue. It seems that the issue is on the evaporator side of that connection, a, maybe the flaring spec or the initial part of the tube length is not long enough, it seems to taper off. Any ideas? Thanks for posting this video and how easy that click-in is supposed to be.

I made it all the way to putting the hub back on and broke the aluminum inner spokes. Had to order a new kit. You should mention in your video that you don't want to apply too much torque tightening that thing, lol.

Come to find out that my compressor ended up being seized. Would definitely recommend, before buying a replacement part like this, to pull your belt and roll your compressor over a few times to make sure it isn’t in the compressor itself.

I made mistake of taking that smaller Uber ring out seal blew out can I get that seal and put new seal in or do I got buy new compressor

I think I have a leak in the rear evaporator, so this helped me to see that I can buy some block offs to get through the summer, then fix the rear later. Thanks. Maybe include a link in your description to where you got your blockoffs, for folks that suck at searching, lol!

Why cant they make it like other cars with one bolt not this dumb design that you need a special tool for. A plastic pulley what a joke. So to replace the pulley you need to remove the engine from the car great Japanese designers here.

You don't have to remove the engine to replace the AC Compressor Pulley. You don't even have to remove the AC Compressor to remove the Pulley. The Pulley can be removed IF you have room under your hood to remove it. On a 2010 Toyota Corolla, you can remove the pulley by first removing the passenger side tire and the plastic wheel we'll cover. Plenty of room.

Correct, as long as you have enough space or can make room to do the job. Looks like my Yaris I can remove some inner plastic wheel arch to get to the ac compressor.

If you search for Ford Springlock tools you'll find them. about $8 for a set of them
