It's a shame that this great performance was ruined by the poor video quality (240p). JMO

He fatted the 2nd shot, as Miller later questioned. Sounded fat, looked fat. A big 210yd slice is almost bread and butter for Phil. Tough to watch. Ogilvys last 2 pars were Top-Class. 🍻 🏆

This Stan was not only lucky and all; he was very brilliant in how he played! It's interesting that he never called the red herring 15 at all. I'm not surprised that he holds the record for the fastest completion of this bonus round. And I loved his winning reaction!

No guarantee Goosen three-putts if Cink would have made it. The atmosphere changes, the mentality of the golfers change. Goosen just saw a miss, so he is thinking differently, In fact, Goosen likely never three-putts if Cink makes.

I can picture Stan being invited to do one more bonus round, and I bet he would he destroy it again - this time in memory of Alex! For the 7 cars up for grabs in the bonus round, I would throw in: Koenigsegg Jesko Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Ford GT Ferrari SP-8 Nissan Fairlady Z Mercedes AMG C63 BMW M3

Underrated part of this collapse. Phil had won both the 2005 PGA championship and 2006 Masters. He was in the process of a "Phil-Slam" and just threw it away, trying to win pretty

Why don't announcers in golf, like ever, explain why hitting a 4wood there, or say, hitting an iron, is the safer play when trying to protect a lead and making sure you hit the fairway. I mean, not once in the many decades I have watched, have they ever explained it. The casual fan doesn't know. For example, if the average hacker had to guarantee that he hit the fairway, if he tried to hit an iron off the tee, or even a 4wood, he would have much less chance of hitting the fairway than he would hitting a driver. Obviously the pros control the ball better with irons and 4wood's, etc. but how about one time in 50 years explaining that to the public, because it is the exact opposite of what they should do when under pressure.
