For those asking about where to source cardboard, nearly every small town has a furniture store. Everything comes in boxes. And they have to dispose of those boxes. Washers and dryers, beds and desks, it all gets shipped in boxes. Go ask for them. Tell them you'll come by at a time convenient for them so they dont have to break down or cut up those boxes. They'll be glad for it.

The grandchild got a huge set of the small cans of play-doh for Christmas. I think it was the 2nd gift she opened. She immediately opened every can and squished them all together. It made my OCD scream but the child knew what she was doing. The only thing that got her to put her dih aside were the dozen bracelets I made for her and the perfectly glittery box to put them in. I did the same for her big sister but more mature choices in the beads. From really casual to sparkly crystal to some drama. The variety of beads available made it difficult to narrow my selection to a dozen for each girl. I can sew anything. Design, no problem. I'm pretty crafty and could probably do a competent version of this house. I NEVER would have thought of doing thus. Ever. Crafting materials have changed so much since I was doing so much of it that I'm really far behind in my knowledge of materials and new tools and techniques. These videos are so welcome and so inspiring!
