Fabulous sample of some of the many festas in Malta. The strength and co-ordination of the status bearers as they paraded always astounded me every time I witnessed it. To finish of course, the fireworks are always incredible. Thankyou for sharing.

I notice the wearing of shorts and bear arms has been relaxed. When I went in the 90’s I used to take a bag with a pair of trousers for my husband and shawl for myself as we weren’t allowed in the churches. Respect!
