I know this place/Airport from my 10 visits to Malta from Denmark. We came in 3 large busses to and from our brutally conquered Danish Viking Area/Town in Mellieha, for a weekly change of most of the Population. For 7 weeks we also had our own cute red cat residing in our yard, named: Riding Hood (from one of two feed and housed Cat Colonies on each side, hopefully eating a mouse or a rat once in a while?). We sure miss it down there! Also the many turtles in our private Pond. Finn. Denmark

Why on earth does Malta need a building like that. It is not Dubai, it is a tiny bit of rock in the middle of the Mediterranian Sea.

I take it that every room has an oven, because they have 3 different types of rooms, and they don't list ovens in any of the room descriptions. I was actually expecting their rooms to be more expensive. Normally having a real oven, and a full sized fridge alone brings up the price of a room 100s of dollars a night. The normal flats that I have seen in Malta, if they have an oven they are usually complicated to use, and use a tank of gas, way too complicated for me. Yet that room's oven looks user friendly.

Except the horrible Traffic (And in the wrong side!), I loved my time on Malta during many vacations to Mellieha. As a now pensioner I doubt very much that I could even afford the rent of the look from the Balcony! Finn. Denmark 😁

Actually the market you refer to as Birgu Market is mostly found within the confines of Bormla and is known locally as 'Suq ta' Bormla.'

Hi Steve another fantastic video and i walked all along their when i was in Malta a few weeks ago. The walk is lovely from St Georges bay, then by St Julian's along to Bullata bay and then onto Sliema.
