To claim GGG's scalp, even in the amateurs, is something special to have on your boxing resume; however, I don't think George Groves punching power is/was that far off Golovkins and he's a bigger man too. It was tragic the way this fight ended; fighters put their lives on the line every time they step into the ring - what other sport can you say that about? So true. The media do the same thing to every great British boxer such as David price, Ricky Hatton and even AJ at one point. They build and hype them up just to bring them back down again even faster when they lose. Like Tyson fury’s always said “everybody loves a winner, no one likes a loser”.
