This never gets old. I'm bored on my porch sometimes and I hear a Jay. I play this and they're all like WTF?? It's like "screw you" "no, screw you" "no, screw you" "no! Screw you" they start buzzing by the screen.

I play this when my blujays get crazy loud.. They stfu & just stare at my window.

Unpopular opinion: This sound is more nostalgic than the mourning dove
I come back to this recording and play it whenever I want the Blue Jays to come for some peanuts, and they come!

Excellent visual production and video editing. So beautiful, sweet and smooth. Much inspired and talented. A real peaceful and relaxing pleasure to watch. Full of poetry and spirit. Good for the mind and the eyes. Fabulous quality of images. Big big big like for this fantastic perform and brighting sharing. Splendid and luminous.

Definitely not one of the most melodic birds. My dad complained about them being over aggressive and chasing other birds away. I guess they're colorful and that's nice .

I don't know if this is a common bluejay behavior, but now that my husband and I have started feeding the bluejays near us, they have started showing up on our deck, calling us to come to feed them. They do it much earlier than I care to wake up, but I am amazed and excited they trust us enough to call to us.

The ones I've been feeding have started doing that too in the past month! One jay in particular will land in the trellis outside my living room window and look for me while warbling for a peanut. When it sees me move towards the door, it will fly over to perch above the door and lean upside down to greet me, and then as soon as I toss a peanut onto the walk, the jay flies down before it hits the ground. Sometimes it takes the peanut up into the tree, but sometimes it eats it where I can see. They're such smart, friendly birds with so much personality (and often sass). I've come to think of them as a little flock of porch cats with wings. 😂

I had one do this as well. He would sit in the tree outside my office and call to me. They're very smart birds

Pretty bird, great video. On my screen it looks more like a House Finch.
